Glen Auchie is a traditional stone country cottage dating back to 1850, it is set in half an acre of mature garden, with spectacular views to the Irish sea over dramatic coastal landscape teeming with wildlife and gentle farmland. From the lighthouse on a clear day you can see the hiils of Cumbria, the Irish coast and the Isle of Man. Climb down to the foghorn and see nesting Puffins.

Glen Auchie holiday cottage has a secure fence and gates to protect the cottage and grounds from the road to the lighthouse, making it safe for children to play. Local amenities are located in Drummore, just 2 miles from the cottage and because of the warm Gulf Stream, this area benefits from a particularly moderate climate which is why the world renowned Logan Botanic Gardens is established close by with a wonderful collection of exotic plants.
